Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, this horror-comedy has become a force to be reckoned with, surpassing the ₹400 crore mark and establishing its place in the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films.
Day 14 Collection: How Much Did ‘Stree 2’ Earn?
Stree 2 captured the audience’s hearts on its very first day and has maintained its momentum ever since. The film’s first week was nothing short of phenomenal, and the second weekend continued to break records.
In its first week alone, Stree 2 amassed ₹291 crore. Even on weekdays during its second week, the film remained steady, earning crores every day.
On its second Friday, it collected ₹17.5 crore, followed by ₹33 crore on Saturday, ₹42.4 crore on Sunday, ₹18.5 crore on Monday, and ₹11.75 crore on Tuesday.
According to early trends from Sacnilk, the film earned an impressive ₹9.25 crore on its 14th day (second Wednesday), bringing its total collection to ₹424.05 crore.
Breaking Prabhas’ Record: Stree 2 Triumphs Over Baahubali
On its 14th day, Stree 2 managed to surpass the lifetime collection of Prabhas’ Baahubali at the Indian box office.
Baahubali, which released in 2015, had a lifetime collection of ₹421 crore in India. With Stree 2 crossing this milestone, it has secured the 9th spot in the list of top 10 highest-grossing films in Indian cinema.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 was made on a budget of approximately ₹50 crore and has earned nearly 12 times its cost. If the film continues at this pace, it could soon cross the ₹500 crore mark in the domestic market.
In addition to Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the film also features stellar performances by Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, making it a complete entertainment package that has resonated with audiences nationwide.
